It's important to us to buy locally wherever possible to support local business, to reduce our impact on the environment and to ensure we serve the freshest food possible.
OUR FARM
In additional to our much loved suppliers and producers we are lucky enough to have our own farm just 1.8 miles from the pub. Our farm managers rear and breed cattle, rare breed pigs, turkeys, geese, pheasant and ducks. Spread over 1000 acres of farmland and woodland all our live stock is well looked after and free range. Our farm grow all it's own animal feed and small quantities of fruit and vegetables. The woodland is home to wild boar, rabbits, deer, wild garlic, blackberries and mushrooms. Where ever possible we use our own produce which means that we can be confident that the quality and condition of our food is the best - you can't get more local!
