Our 2008 Food Fayre took place on Sunday 10th August and was a great success. Local food and drink producers and suppliers attended with some of the most fabulous tasting goodies from the county. It was a great opportunity for local people to come and chat with some of the best local producers and suppliers, learn about the benefits of buying locally and sample some great food and drink.
The barbeque and hog roast was served throughout the day and New Jersey, a local band played from 6pm while the children enjoyed the bouncy castle.
The Mill Race would like to thanks all those producers and suppliers who attended the event and the sponsors. The Charity Raffle raised almost £300 which will be split between Air Ambulance and Cancer Research. A big thank you to everyone who donated a prize and to everyone who bought tickets!
